To resolve this very common issue upload images to WordPress website by any other links I mean third-party website for this very user-friendly third-party website is Google Drive.

Google drive is one of the most popular drives for storing of photos documents etc. But web designers are using Google drive to back up their website.

First of all Download the plugin Google Drive WP Media from WordPress org

Or directly install it from your WordPress Dashboard after Activation of Google Drive WP Media plugin

Goes to Google Drive WP Media dashboard which is under Media button of in the menu

Google Drive API Key tab open by default in Google Drive WP Media dashboard, put your Gmail id in commonly you used unless creating the new one

Now how to get all these credentials How to generate your Google Drive API Key.

Go to https://code.google.com/apis/console/, sign-in with your Google account. Click Create Project

Enter any name you want (website name is best one) if it’s not going to new project dashboard by default it was in the notification area at top right click here and enter your dashboard of the new project,

Goes to Library in menu area in Google API click driver API in G-Suit Apis category make it enable and click Create Credentials and select Web Server option in Where will you be calling the API from? In this tab and click enable Application data after this click No, I’m not using them the option and click What credentials do I need button after this new window opened

Give a name to Service account in role tab scroll to project and click Editor, select P12 in Key type click continue now Your *.-private key.p12 file will automatically download, save it. Close popup screen page redirected to the new window, Click Manage service accounts link in the new window now you can see your Service account ID and  Key ID here

Now you can Upload  private-key.p12 file to WordPress website directory and also Google drive as well

  1. Put your Gmail id (xxxxxxx@gmail.com)
  2. Client id (something like this : 2e227e26640996c432e3ab308)
  3. Service Account Name ( something like this: drive-38@prime-keel-170308.iam.gserviceaccount.com
  4. Private Key Url Path goes to Google drive right click on the file you have to upload in previous click share next click advanced bottom right click change and enable On – public on the web and save the copy the link to share URL click done and short the URL if you are copied ( something like this:

Click Save now all set Google Drive connected to your WordPress
